Salary: £13,206 - £13,786
Hours: 15.5 hours
A vacancy has arisen for the post of a part time Community Library Officer at Fallin Library. You will assist in the development, operation and delivery of a range of library services to the community. You will be educated to standard grade or equivalent, be interested in literature and have good ICT skills. A flexible approach to the working week, which will include evening and weekend working, is essential. You will have good communication skills, be customer focused and able to work unsupervised. Previous library experience and experience of using the Sirsi Dynix Library Management System is essential.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Basic Disclosure. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
