The role
As Event Manager (Venue and Operations), you’ll be an integral part of the team and help support the delivery of two of the world’s biggest sporting events – the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and UEFA EURO 2028. Reporting to Senior Events Lead (Projects) and working alongside both an established and a new project team.

The focus for this role will transition to operational event planning and delivery of Glasgow’s host city commitments for EURO 2028, including working with the project team and partners to deliver a fan zone and associated activations.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role until December 2028 — a rare opportunity to take a senior operational role at the heart of Glasgow’s international event delivery.

Our Albion Street office has great links to public transport as well as parking nearby.
We believe in the transformational power of the programmes and events we provide for the people and visitors of Glasgow. If you would like to be a part of what we do, we’d love to hear from you.
