Your new role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent floater Catering Assistant to join our Edinburgh Schools account in Broomhouse/St Joseph’s Primary school, 39 Saughton Rd, Edinburgh EH11 3RQ.

This role is on-site based.

Salary £12.00 per hour

16 hours per week (Shift pattern is Monday to Thursday 10:30am to 14:30pm (term time only)

You will be responsible for:

Basic preparation of food and drinks Preparation of vegetables and snacks Simple cooking of food (including the heating and/or reconstitution of convenience foods and vegetables) Transportation and serving of meals (including the packing and unpacking of food into containers) Washing up and clearing away equipment Cash handling Cleaning of the kitchen, its surrounds and the equipment
