Whether it’s making someone’s room feel fresh and homely, supporting a colleague with shared tasks, or helping keep our communal areas safe and spotless, you’ll play a vital role in helping others feel cared for.

What you’ll be doing:

* Keeping all areas of the service clean, hygienic and welcoming
* Assisting residents with their personal spaces, respectfully and sensitively
* Working as part of a friendly, supportive team
* Using cleaning equipment and products safely (training provided)
* Attending team meetings and taking part in training
* Supporting the smooth running of the unit as directed by senior staff
* Working on a rota system, which may include evenings and weekends

What you’ll bring:

* Team spirit and a willingness to lend a hand wherever needed
* Basic IT skills (for occasional online training or record keeping)
* No prior experience needed if you’ve worked in hospitality, cleaning, retail or simply love keeping things shipshape, we’d love to hear from you

As a Christian organisation, you will need to have a respect for all aspects of Christian worship.

You will also need to become amember of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks.You will also be required to adhere to the SSSC Code of practice.
