About the role

Reporting to the Senior HRBP, this role will be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the European and Americas teams.

The HR Advisor will take the lead on supporting and coaching Line Managers on employee relations issues and will constantly strive to improve HR practices and procedures; always looking to implement best practice. This role will support the Senior HRBP and Head of HR EMEA & Americas on key business/HR projects.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities include:

-Conduct policy reviews and update in line with legislative changes
-Work collaboratively with our centres of excellence across analytics, reward & recognition, learning and development, and talent acquisition
-Conduct regular and consistent end-to-end support for recruitment, including conducting hiring manager briefings, writing adverts, phone screening, interviews, reference checks and onboarding of new employees.
-Provide administrative support to the HR team, maintaining rigour in our documents and files.
-Provide sound HR advice to employees in line with our policies and procedures
-Work with occupational health and HR Team, to review, monitor and proactively manage absence levels, looking at capability and reducing long term sickness cases across the functions you support.
-Manage day to day recruitment needs, from understanding requirements, creating job descriptions, advertising through to interview and arranging inductions/on-boarding. Looking to reduce business cost on recruitment where possible.
-Report on and analyse KPI's, proactively looking at ways to improve figures and recording trends.
-Taking a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring risks and issues are identified and mitigated, addressed and reported / escalated.
-Support the broader HRBP team to consistently review and optimise all HR-related processes
-Support HR project work and drive best practice

Other accountabilities:

-Always striving to improve, this role will ensure that all electronic files are up-to-date, and that employee records are maintained at all times
-Provide support to Managers for all training needs, providing advise on utilising the businesses levy fund where appropriate.
-Support the HR Team with Union meetings and negotiations.
-Project support to HRBP's and the Head of HR Europe.
-Being fully aware of and actively complying with Accolade Wines policies and procedures.

-Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
-Organised with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
-Demonstrates a growth mindset, a desire to learn and develop on the job by working on a variety of HR tasks
-2 years generalist HR experience
-Experience of working with complex ER cases.
