Full Job Description
Eden Scott is thrilled to be partnering with their client, a growing HR Consultancy to recruit an HR Consultant to join their small friendly team.
This opportunity is available on a part time (4 days minimum) or full time basis (35 hours per week) and hybrid working is available, however, 2 days minimum will be required on site each week.
This is a varied role which involves delivering all types of people related projects and consultancy work - either independently or as part of a team to their SME clients across private, public and third sectors.
The role will also require you to travel (normally across Scotland central belt) when projects require your on-site presence with clients. This role will suit an individual that will enjoy supporting a number of different clients and prioritising their projects/requirements.
- Deliver onsite generalist HR services for retained clients.
- Carry out independent workplace investigations into disciplinary, grievance and whistleblowing matters.
- Design and facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Coach executives, project manage 360-degree feedback and carry out organisational reviews.
- Partner with clients to assess HR needs and develop tailored solutions to address the whole employee lifecycle challenges.
- Lead transformation programmes and projects, including redundancies, job evaluations and salary benchmarking.
- Organise your own workload priorities constantly, liaising with clients and team members as appropriate to achieve project objectives.
- Contribute to the growth of the company by business development opportunities.
Essential Skills/Experience Required;
- Strong HR generalist with recognisable HR experience
- Strong experience preparing and presenting reports at Executive and Board level
- Ability to take initiative, developing tailored solutions and projects independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and put people at ease
- Excellent organisational skills, being able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and hit deadlines whilst remaining composed under pressure
- Excellent social media skills
- Be an individual that is pragmatic, solutions focused, resilient, flexible and copes well under pressure.
