Full Job Description
Our client a leading professional services firm are recruiting a Reward and Benefits advisor to join their growing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence compensation and benefits strategies while ensuring they remain competitive, equitable, and compliant with regulations. Working closely with the Reward Manager, the role involves leading complex projects, providing expert analysis, and acting as a key business partner to HR Operations and Payroll.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation
- Develop and implement compensation strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
- Conduct benchmarking exercises and market research to ensure competitive salary structures.
- Lead the annual salary and bonus review process, providing data-driven insights to senior management.
- Support salary and bonus modeling for business services and client-facing teams.
- Prepare reports and recommendations on compensation adjustments and market trends.
- Provide expert advice on complex compensation-related matters.
Benefits
- Oversee the administration of benefits programs, ensuring clear communication to employees.
- Manage relationships with third-party benefits providers, ensuring high service levels.
- Support employees with complex benefits queries.
- Stay informed on legislative changes and emerging trends in benefits and reward programs.
- Implement financial education initiatives tailored to different employee demographics.
- Collaborate with benefits brokers to explore innovative solutions that align with regulatory requirements.
Pensions
- Manage relationships with pension advisors, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
- Participate in pension governance committees.
- Keep employees informed of changes and updates to pension policies.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Leverage data analytics to support decision-making on reward and benefits strategies.
- Prepare reports on compensation trends and key metrics for senior stakeholders.
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support business decisions.
Projects
- Lead and contribute to reward-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in reward and benefits processes.
- Provide guidance on compensation structures and employee health policies.
- Work closely with health providers to support the company’s health and well-being initiatives.
Experience, Skills & Attributes
- Experience in a reward and benefits role with strong analytical skills.
- Strong data manipulation and analysis skills, with the ability to present insights clearly.
- Practical understanding of benchmarking methodologies (e.g., Willis Towers Watson preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information effectively.
- Strategic mindset with a pragmatic and commercial approach to problem-solving.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Proven project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Adaptable, resilient, and able to focus on long-term objectives.
- Previous experience in professional services (desirable).
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
