Full Job Description
You will
- Lead the gathering of business requirements from internal and external stakeholders, facilitating workshops and interviews to create consensus and prioritise needs using approaches like MoSCoW.
- Design future-state business processes, data flows, and ways of working in line with SSE's digital transformation objectives.
- Support technical design teams by translating business requirements into functional specifications and working closely with development teams in agile sprints.
- Ensure the effective delivery of change by documenting current state processes, performing gap analyses, and collaborating with Change Managers to enable smooth transitions.
- Mentor and guide a team of Business Analysts, promoting consistent practices and ensuring best practices are adhered to across the programme.
Extensive experience in business analysis within an agile delivery environment, with a strong track record in eliciting and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide and mentor teams of Business Analysts, ensuring quality outputs and career development.
- Expertise in process design, process mapping, gap analysis, and identifying opportunities for process improvements (e.g., Lean).
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to various stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.
- Experience working within the energy and utilities sector, particularly in electricity networks, distribution network operators, and asset management would be advantageous.

Salary: £40,600 - £61,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
