Full Job Description
Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with an innovative business in the manufacturing industry. Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team based in the Scottish Borders.
Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated individual with accounts management experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records by processing invoices, payments, and receipts
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
- Process and manage supplier invoices and payments
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and maintain accounts receivable records
- Manage employee expense claims and reimbursements
- Prepare financial documents for audits and maintain organised filing systems
- Support Management Accountant and Finance Managers in daily operations
- Assist with accounts preparation
- Post cash book, purchase and sales ledger transactions
Requirements:
- Previous exposure to finance operations
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Full Time, Permanent Role
