Residential Conveyancing Paralegal
Location: Lanarkshire
Salary: Competitive, DOE
About the Role
A highly regarded law firm in the Lanarkshire area is seeking an experienced and proactive Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join their friendly and professional team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and title transfers.
- Prepare and review contracts, title deeds, and other legal documentation.
- Conduct due diligence, including title checks and property searches.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and financial institutions.
- Ensure timely progression of files from instruction through to completion.
- Maintain compliance with legal standards, firm policies, and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in residential conveyancing, ideally within a Scottish legal practice.
- Paralegal qualification preferred (e.g. Law Society of Scotland accredited).
- Sound knowledge of Scottish property law and conveyancing processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle a busy caseload with accuracy and minimal supervision.
- IT proficiency including experience with legal case management systems.
