Iconic Resourcing is proud to be recruiting for a Senior Planning & Property Solicitor on behalf of a leading energy sector client. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in supporting the business with strategic investment, customer connection, and network upgrade projects across its operational regions.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will:

Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of planning, consenting, and property matters.
Manage legal support for securing consents and land contracts for major infrastructure projects.
Lead the preparation and representation at public inquiries, hearings, and statutory submissions.
Support cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and external advisors, to drive strategic projects forward.
Deliver commercially pragmatic legal advice to senior stakeholders and executive teams.
Develop and implement innovative legal processes and best practices to enhance the business’s strategic objectives.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you’ll bring:

Qualification as a Solicitor with substantial experience in planning and/or property law.
Proven ability to deliver strategic legal advice, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
Experience managing large-scale development or energy projects, including handling environmental and legal consents.
A collaborative approach, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external bodies.
