Full Job Description

We are seeking a Terminal Operator at our cement terminal in Leith. The successful candidate will carry out daily production tasks and other such tasks as set by Management within the Terminal to the highest standards while maintaining exceptionally high standards of safety and quality.





Key Responsibilities


· Adhere to Company Health & Safety working practices and legislative regulations.
· The efficient day-to-day operation of the bulk storage and out loading plant.
· Perform routine checks and operate machinery.
· Regular checks and record keeping in regard to health, safety and environment legislation and for local permit requirements.
· General cleaning and housekeeping duties, and first line maintenance duties
· Handle all aspects of Depot Operations, maintaining / operating the equipment.
· Check documentation and physically check loads before departure.
· The collection of production samples.
· Ensure that the operation meets the customer service requirements by completing each function to the highest standards.
· Contribute to the consistent delivery of production targets and budgeted operational performance.
· Perform any other duties as may be reasonably be required from time-to-time.



Skills, Knowledge & Expertise


· Knowledge of machinery and equipment.
· Proven track record of working within a production environment.
· Plant Operation experience Loading shovel / FLT.
· Driving Licence.
