Instrumental Instructor: Brass

The East Lothian Instrumental Music Service provides a service for all primary and secondary schools in East Lothian. A vacancy has arisen to teach 21 hours a week in the Musselburgh and Wallyford clusters. Days are currently Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, but are negotiable.

All schools currently enjoy full timetables and applicants with relevant qualifications, experience and enthusiasm are invited to apply for this varied and interesting position.

Please note this position will require someone who has a current driving licence and access to use of a car.

Job Details

To teach pupils individually or in groups to play a musical instrument, develop musical literacy, aural awareness and promote interest in music making, through group playing to enrich school, authority and community identity.
