We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Technical Production Manager, Live Entertainment to join our team. Role Overview:
As the Technical Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a wide range of Live Entertainment events at SEC. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing all technical aspects of events, ensuring safety, compliance, and the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of technical production for live events, ensuring the best experience for clients and customers.
- Provide expert advice and technical solutions tailored to client needs.
- Manage the technical production team, freelancers, and contractors, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Oversee the technical logistics of events, including preparation of technical drawings.
- Ensure all events comply with safety regulations, risk assessments, and industry standards.
- Foster strong communication with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Take ownership of maintaining the SEC’s technical equipment and facilities to the highest standards.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in technical production, particularly in live entertainment, large-scale events or venue.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing both permanent and freelance staff.
- Excellent understanding of technical systems, equipment, and production processes.
- A keen eye for detail with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high standards.
- Experience with management budgets, including event costings.
- A solid understanding of health and safety requirements for pre-planning and delivery of Live Events, IOSH training or similar would be desirable.
- Knowledge of CAD / drawing software would be desirable.
