Your new company
We have an exciting opportunity within a well-established 3rd party logistics business for a Transport Administrator to assist with their day-to-day operations.
Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop new skills in an organisation with an enviable reputation. This role would suit someone who is confident in their ability and is looking to build a career in Administration. It is based on site in Glasgow. The position is 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. However, they are open to flexibility in both working hours and contractual hours to accommodate the right candidate. Liaise with customers and book in jobs via their management software package. High volume invoice processing. Check and reconcile invoices, working to tight deadlines along with general ad-hoc duties as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
Effective communication skills both internally and externally; punctual and reliable. Attention to detail and accuracy and general office experience is desirable. Ideally, candidates will have a good understanding of Microsoft Office (in particular, Excel). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to learn new processes. Experience of HMRC procedures would be advantageous but not essential. Experience of working in a transport office is preferred.
