We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a Warehouse Storeperson to join our client's team in East Ayrshire (Near Mauchline).

The weekly working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Checking and accepting incoming goods at the warehouse, ensuring they align with purchase orders and are in proper condition, while addressing any delivery issues.
Organising and safely storing goods.
Issuing materials for production.
Packing and preparing customer orders for shipment.
Monitoring storage areas and reporting any problems to address safety concerns.
Adhering to good manufacturing practices and necessary safety protocols.
Keeping the workspace clean and safe.
Requesting replenishment for certain stock items.
Embracing a continuous improvement mindset and helping to identify opportunities to enhance processes.
Carrying out additional duties as assigned.

Experience

Good physical fitness.
Ability to load goods safely.
Good computer skills is essential.
Attention to detail.
Import/Export Knowledge is helpful but not essential.
Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic.
Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems would be advantageous.

The intention is for the successful candidate to assume this role shortly after the Christmas season.
