Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Local Marketing Executive to join our Customer team based in our Central Support Office in Lasswade on a 12 month fixed term basis. This is a customer focussed role with ownership of all aspects of our local marketing campaigns for store developments. This includes refurbishments, new concept store offerings & new restaurant/coffee shop launches, as well as wider marketing requirements to support local store delivery of point of sale, marketing collateral & PR/local events as required.,

  • Plan, develop and deliver fully integrated, multi-channel paid, owned & earned local marketing campaigns to support our store development programme & new retail concept roll outs (including but not exclusively - foodhalls, restaurants, coffee shops & concessions)
  • Develop, manage and deliver agency briefings & timelines ensuring the paid media, creative assets, direct mail/targeted door drops, high level signage, digital screens and in-house radio are all delivered as part of the plan and manage the relationship with the various agencies throughout the campaigns
  • Develop, manage & deliver the in-house briefings & timelines ensuring point of sale, website, digital marketing, local PR & events are delivered as part of the plan
  • Work closely with the Campaign Marketing Manager on delivering the best mix of channels, formats, messaging & assets to support the campaign objectives
  • Work closely with the PR Manager & Events Manager on delivering local relaunch activity & any specific local activity to support post relaunch
  • Ensure key customer and commercial messages are tailored to the core target audience, local area/offering and are communicated in a clear way that has cut through and drives action (footfall)
  • Monitor campaigns and optimise spend and activity throughout, lead on the post evaluation of campaigns
  • Brief and deliver customer research & insights pre and post store developments to monitor customer feedback and if improvements are making the desired difference to the key customer metrics & in-store experience
  • Manage the creative and print sign off process, as well as campaign budgets, the raising of PO's and the overall finance sign off process
  • Produce clear and concise store briefing documents and store communications for all local marketing campaigns
  • Be the Marketing representative at the store development meetings, co-ordinate the marketing requirements, communicate requirements to the wider team, feed into the critical paths & budgeting as required
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring that brand guidelines and tone of voice is always on brand
  • Measures of success
  • You have delivered impactful and engaging customer communications that deliver increased footfall results
  • More widely these campaigns also drive web traffic, social engagement and budgeted sales uplifts
  • Campaign activity is fully integrated across all marketing channels as well as in-store channels through POS, digital screens & instore radio
  • In-house wider marketing teams are clear on what their role is in delivering the local marketing plan and are able to do this in time and on budget
  • Stores are able to execute in-store requirements such as POS, and any other marketing activities with ease and consistency, in line with the set up guides given
  • Campaigns are delivered on time and to budget
