The Role
We have a unique and exciting opportunity available to join the team as a Marketing Campaign Manager! This role will place you at the heart of the action, working alongside experts to deliver a global event that sets the new standard for major sporting celebrations. You’ll gain hands-on experience and contribute to creating a world-class Games.
The Marketing Campaign Manager will be responsible for the development, execution and optimisation of marketing and advertising campaigns for Glasgow 2026. This role involves managing all aspects of the marketing lifecycle, including the development of innovative marketing plans, the execution of digital and traditional campaigns, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the continuous analysis of performance metrics to ensure the event’s success. The postholder will have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills and be willing to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:
As Marketing Campaign Manager, you will be required to oversee the end-to-end execution of Glasgow 2026 consumer marketing campaigns and events (concept to launch), ensuring detailed planning and adherence to budgets and timelines. You will be a strategic thinker and brand planner, able to interpret and integrate brand goals, audience research, and situational analyses to deliver commercial and engagement targets. You will work with the G2026 CRM supplier to develop innovative CRM strategies and campaigns that increase data acquisition and drive engagement and action and contribute to business-critical Games objectives - ticket sales, fan engagement, and volunteer recruitment. This role is pivotal to our success in building mass awareness of Glasgow 2026 across a broad local, national, and international audience.
Key Skills and Experience:
We are looking for a Marketing Campaign Manager who has proven marketing experience in the sporting or a large-scale events sector. The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering ambitious engagement targets via inspiring, creative, and integrated marketing and advertising strategies.
Key attributes include being an excellent communicator, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and being a strong team player.
In addition, the successful candidate should be able to build strong, meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and have excellent copywriting and proofing skills.
