Job Description
The postholder is principally responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of financial systems.
The postholder is accountable for the design, development and support of finance systems across the Council. They will provide leadership, vision, direction and effective management and development of these systems including the Financial Ledger system (TechnologyOne) fostering and encouraging a culture of high quality customer services, corporate working, continuous improvement and innovation in line with the councils business needs.
The postholder will have a key role to provide technical expertise and advice to the Finance & Revenues Service and wider finance system users on system developments, financial reporting and system processes. The postholder will implement changes to the systems as required.
The postholder will also be responsible for maintaining and keeping the finance systems up-to-date
