Full Job Description
Your new company
A well-known charitable organisation, based in the Renfrewshire area, now requires a social media executive on an interim basis to support them during a known period of absence. Due to the urgent nature of this vacancy, you must be immediately available or available at short notice to start, and have full right to work in the UK and live in the Inverclyde/ Renfrewshire/ Dunbartonshire or Glasgow area.
Your new role
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing goals.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Facebook, etc.).
- Monitor trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and build community.
- Track performance metrics and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to support campaigns and product launches.
What you'll need to succeed
- 1-3 years of experience in a social media or digital marketing role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and storytelling.
- Experience with tools like Canva, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite is a plus.
- A proactive, organised, and data-driven approach.
