Support the Environmental Manager with the implementation of the SHEQ Environmental Strategy to drive continual improvement.
Support the delivery of key environmental programmes, including but not limited to
Verify compliance with environmental legislation, permits / consents; and promote best practice:
Conduct environmental related site inspections and audits.
Complete environmental legal reviews.
Raise awareness of key environmental issues / risks to the business.
Assist with incident investigations, trend analysis and reporting.

Previous proven experience in an Environmental Management / Compliance role
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in an environmental field
IEMA membership is desired but not essential
Knowledge and practical experience of environmental legislation and best practice
A good technical understanding of key environmental legislation and guidance, including permits, waste management and pollution control.
A flexible approach to work, both office based and on site, with the ability to travel with nights away from home to fulfil programme needs.
