Applicants should be registered, or eligible for registration, with the GTCS and will be expected to contribute and assist with the co-curricular activities of the College and take a full part in School life.

Pay and Benefits

Benefits of working at Robert Gordon's College include a salary on the SNCT scale, with an RGC enhancement.  We also provide a broad range of benefits in addition to the salary remuneration you will receive.  These benefits are non-contractual and may be changed by the College.  Currently, the benefits provided to employees include:

  • Membership of the Scottish Teachers Pension Scheme, or access to an optional parallel pension scheme;
  • Generous staff fee discount (after one year’s service);
  • Life Insurance and Group Personal Accident Insurance;
  • Access to a third party cashback and discount site via RGC email addresses;
  • Preferential parking rates at the Bon Accord Centre car parks;
  • Family friendly leave above statutory requirements. This includes maternity, paternity & adoption leave, and time off for dependents;
  • Financial contribution toward the cost of buying prescription eyewear required for work;
  • A Bike to Work scheme;
  • A grant towards the cost of buying a computer;
  • Access to a free and confidential Employee Assistance Programme.

We welcome applications from all candidates with the required professional qualifications and experience. Our commitment to inclusion across race, gender, age, religion, identity, and experience drives us forward every day as we strive to ensure our staff and pupils all feel equally valued and important. The College provides excellent professional development opportunities and supports staff who want to pursue ongoing training or qualifications. This post is subject to the safe recruitment process required by the regulatory bodies associated with the services operated at Robert Gordon’s College, including a PVG check. The closing date for applications is Monday 19th of May, 2025 with the intention to interview candidates on Thursday 22nd of May, 2025.
