Full Job Description
Position Overview: Leading the restaurant management team and team members, you help direct the daily operations of an entire restaurant. Using business expertise and management skills, you keep both your team and your customers happy. Functional Responsibilities:
- Manages all FOH and BOH operations and equipment maintenance
- Ensures adherence to all safety, sanitation and security standards and creates action plans for improvement as needed
- Ability to maintain the financial well-being of the operation by meeting food cost and labour goals
- Manages P&L statements following all financial control/security standards
- Adapts quickly to changing trends, market and environmental conditions and suitably modifies store plans to meet business targets Leadership Responsibilities:
- Leads with a Growth Mindset and models Smart, Heart and Courage
- Sets high standards for self and others
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and bench planning
- Implements restaurant training programs for team members and management to enable them to meet the standards required, maximize performance and realize their career potential
- Oversees training, development and performance management of restaurant team
- Builds and leads store management team and reports back to the manager on performance and activities in the restaurant Culture Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating a culture of positivity and inclusivity following Yum!'s culture and values
- Creates a culture of recognition
- Builds strong customer relations by engaging with all customers
- Demonstrates self-responsibility and a helpful, upbeat, friendly and positive attitude at all times with restaurant team and customers
- Ensures positive customer experience by taking feedback from customers and resolving complaints
3 years multi outlet food retail or service industry experience at a supervisory/management level preferred. - Proven track record of On Target performance in Balanced Scorecard KPIs (or equivalent) with primary profit responsibility
- Certified in Leading a Restaurant (LAR)
- Clear ITC check
- The person must be able to move as required between restaurants according to the needs of the business as determined by Pizza Hut from time to time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
