Full Job Description

As a Product Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading a highly skilled team of Product Owners, who are tasked with bridging technical and business worlds to delivery key initiatives and improvements across our range of products. You will continually craft and promote a culture which encourages personal growth, autonomy and an agile mentality across your team, always seeking to continually improve. Using exceptional business and strategic acumen, knowledge and analytical expertise, you will govern product initiatives across your varied areas, driving value and clarity, and ensuring a high level of detailed analysis is always applied. Exceptional communication skills will be key, operating in a fast-paced environment with constant interactions with a diverse group of stakeholders across all levels of the business. You will work closely with product management, technical teams and delivery across the entire organization. Lead and manage a team of Product Owners:

  • Lead a team of product owners, providing guidance and driving product owners' ownership of individual features
  • Ensure a high-level of quality across all Product Owner artefacts.
  • Ensure effective Product Owner team processes and continuously improving ways of working
  • Ensures the team has the required knowledge and training, can meet the business needs and understand business strategy and priorities
  • Ensure the company values/ cultural behaviors are exhibited by all product owners on your team and be a leader of any company wide initiatives that require full employee engagement
  • Encourage growth and development across the team
  • Support their team members with any delivery issues
  • Work with the peers & leadership team to:
  • Drive effective recruitment and onboarding, helping to develop repeatable, scalable processes for both
  • Build strong working relationships with product management. delivery and technology leadership
  • Make decisions where required and raise priority to seek direction when it is appropriate to do so
  • Actively seeks to help others understand their area better and creates a culture of sharing and acquiring knowledge that will benefit the wider organization
  • Lead the initiation of major initiatives:
  • Collaborate with product, delivery and tech teams for roadmap management, ensuring effective allocation of PO team members to new initiatives
  • Help shape and drive the initiation of major initiatives, ensuring the correct level of engagement across all business functions and locations
  • Work closely with Product Management and Technology to ensure initiative continue to align with the overall product and technology strategies
  • Through a deep understanding of our product set and business analysis, be able to advise commercial and technology stakeholders on the best course of action deliver the best possible outcome
  • Think about the big picture and use that perspective to achieve competitive advantage through greater agility, faster time to market and a better customer experience

    5 years + experience in a Product or Delivery role
  • Leadership or management experience
  • A result driven person with an action-oriented approach, pursuing work with energy and drive
  • Someone that leads by example and with empathy - drives the standards of performance of a team while understanding different perspectives
  • A person who can delegate tasks, empowering their team and fostering growth
  • Strong relationship management skills. Ability to relate to both business and technical specialists
  • Resilient and confident under pressure and maintains a positive attitude
  • A customer focus champion that builds and delivers solutions that meet customer expectations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand technical architecture at a high level
  • Experience working with Agile methodology
  • Experience working in a multi-product environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven track record of delivering successful and innovative products
