Forming part of our Decorative Coating Department, you'll play a key role in the creation of a wide range of quality decorative timber products - on time and to specification. Specifically, some responsibilities of a General Operator include:

• Manual handling of timber.
• Operating state of the art sawmilling machinery.
• Working towards set production targets.
• Upholding the appropriate Health & Safety practices.
  
  As a motivated and hardworking individual, you are focused and have keen attention to detail. You understand that quality is important within this role and a degree of flexibility is required to ensure operations are maximised, maintained and quality targets are met with minimum wastage. In addition, you will have:
• Prior experience within a production, manufacturing, or similar environment in a hands-on role.
• A committed, motivated and enthusiastic approach.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
• Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
