Full Job Description
Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for an individual to become a Machine Operator with our expanding Livingston based client.
What's on offer? A weekly rotational shift pattern of Early, Back and Night shift - paid weekly at 13.03 per hour.
- Early Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm
- Back Shift: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm
- Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am
Working as a Machine Operator you will be responsible for:
- Operating a wide range of production machinery
- Inspecting finished items ensuring they are of the highest quality
- Cleaning production machinery
- Informing Supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues
- Monitoring the production line ensuring a smooth flow of production
- Inspecting finished items ensuring they are of the highest quality
- Storing goods and raw materials in the warehouse
- Adhering to relevant H&S regulations when operating machinery and handling products
- Keeping work areas and the production floor clean and free from hazards
- Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines
To be successful as a Machine Operator you will ideally have previous experience in a production, manufacturing or similar environment. Combined with a good level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; the ability to work on your own and as part of a team; and great attention to detail. The successful candidate must also be able to pass a colour-blind test.
