Full Job Description
Connect Appointments have permanent opportunities available for Spray Painters in Kilmarnock.
Salary: 41,730 to 47,500 per annum
Schedule: 2-week rotation between day shift and night shift (40 hours per week)
As a Spray Painter, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing vehicle bodies for the application of paint coating to different types of vehicle bodies and rolling stock
- Using and selecting appropriate tools, equipment, and materials as required for work tasks
- Using your core technical skills and experience to complete tasks on time and safely
- Communicating any discrepancies or changes to your supervisor and engineering teams
- Ensuring your work area is maintained in a safe and tidy manner
The ideal Spray Painter will be:
- Time-served with relevant qualifications
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Experienced in spray painting and the safe use of hazardous materials
- Motivated, and able to work in a deadline driven, busy environment
