Production Team Leader

Location: Leven, Scotland

Full-Time, Permanent Position

Shift Pattern: Night Shifts, Monday – Thursday (2200 hours – 0800 hours)

What's the site like and Team Facts

• 100+ Brands, 2,500 SKU’s & up to 40 million cases packed a year.

• Whisky, Gin, Vodka, Rum & a wide range of ready-to-drink products.

• Over 1.25m cases per week at peak.

• 1,100 people, including 3rd parties.

• 20 lines spread over three halls, with two new lines in the next 18 months.

Top Accountabilities are:

• Lead a team of 15-20 direct reports with clear direction and motivation.

• Provide strong leadership on shift and with your team.

• Implement a continuous improvement culture, supporting all Manufacturing Excellence standards and practices.

• Mentor production operators for individual and team development, driving step-change in employee engagement.

• Deliver balanced business scorecard results to improve performance.

• Own medium- to long-term strategy for your area, including Capex and investment proposals.

• Lead operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Key skills required:

• Energy and proactivity.

• Strong leadership and communication across all levels of the business.

• Strong in process.

• Influence and diplomacy.

• Root cause analysis and problem-solving.

• Demonstrable decision-making skills in dynamic environments.

Preferred Background

Team lead experience within FMCG/ manufacturing sector.

Six-sigma/Lean Manufacturing experience.

NEBOSH certified or willing towards.
