Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
-Maintain and repair I.S. Machines and ensure that job changes are carried out efficiently.
-Carry out checks on the I.S. Machines, hot end sprays and lubrication during the shift.
-Identify faults with the machine during and after job changes.
-Make necessary adjustments to the machine in order to run correctly, maintain efficiency and reduce downtime.
Required skills / qualifications:
-Must be a Time Served Mechanical Engineer.
-Have ability on all I.S. Machines equipment to set-up, adjust, repair, dismantle/re-assemble and diagnose faults.
-Have basic welding, fabrication, and pipework installation experience.
-An awareness of relevant Health & Safety and Hygiene Regulations
-Basic understanding of the glass manufacturing process.
-Have a good understanding of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Tools and continuous improvement.
