Trade Solutions (Scotland) Ltd offers high quality soft fruit purees, IQF fruit, and natural flavours. Over the past century, Scotland has been renowned for its soft fruit production, particularly strawberries, raspberries, and, more recently, blackcurrants.

Our goal is to market and promote that provenance. Our fruit suppliers are all approved by all of the major retailers, and we ourselves are BRCGS AA+ Grade accredited.

Our Blairgowrie team is currently seeking a Production and Quality Coordinator. The position is full-time, permanent, and requires occasional weekend work.

Role & Responsibilities

Ensuring that all Food safety, GMP and QC checks are being carried out, as specified in work instructions, HACCP, calibration and process control documents.
Carry out factory audits of systems related to food safety and quality, including guidance and assistance to close out any non-conformance raised.
Hands on role working in a factory environment for periods of time.
Demonstrate safe working practices with procedures followed at all times.
Ensure product traceability, accurate data recording & understanding of tolerances.
Train operators on basic quality & hygiene matters.
Collect samples for lab testing and from customer requests.
Ensure information availability for generating customer certificates.
Assisting with the investigation of customer complaints.
Ensure hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
Any other task reasonably requested by a Manager.

Essential Experience and Skills

Displays effective communication, listening, influencing, and persuading skills.
Good self-organisation, motivation, planning, prioritising, and time management skills.
Knowledge of the HACCP system.
Knowledge of BRCGS.
Quality Assurance/Technical experience within the food manufacturing industry.
Food hygiene qualification.
Computer literate.
An understanding of the operation of the factory and the customer's quality requirements.
