Based within the Civic Centre, Motherwell, the Design Co-ordinator (Technical Support) will lead and manage the Technical & Design Group’s Technical Support Team, tasked with providing design and delivery service to a range of client services, as well as managing, organising and allocating specialised support resources to the main capital project delivery teams. 

The successful candidate will report on project delivery progress, day to day contract administration issues, quality outcomes and contractual matters, to the Group Manager (Design).     

You must have full membership of a recognised professional body such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or registered with the Architects Registration Board, have substantial professional experience, and working knowledge of JCT/SBCC Forms of Contracts. Knowledge of procurement regulations and experience in a Local Authority design team environment, would be advantageous to this role.

We currently operate a hybrid model of working; however, you will be required to travel throughout North Lanarkshire to undertake the duties of this post.  

A driving licence is essential to this role.

Working Pattern:

Monday to Thursday 08:45hr - 16:45hr (55 minute unpaid break)

Friday 08:45hr - 16:15hr (50 minute unpaid break)
