We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our exciting and already diverse team in NMIS. The Project Manager role will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure that our advanced manufacturing projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our customers, funders, and network partners. The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders, funders, and partners to drive successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to organise, communicate, and lead project activities effectively, ensuring projects remain aligned with goals from start to finish.

We are seeking candidates with experience of working within one or more of the following key sectors:

• Aerospace

• Defence

• Space

• Semiconductors

• Wind

In addition, candidates with experience working in the following manufacturing environments would be desirable:

• Composites, metallics and novel materials systems and lightweighting,

• Electronics manufacture, in particular semiconductors,

• Manufacturing technologies including but not limited to forming and forging processes,

• Digital manufacturing technologies or data-driven manufacturing,

• Large scale infrastructure and capital equipment installation projects

To be considered for this role, you will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject, have demonstrable project management experience and a formal project management qualification. You should have a proven track record of supporting the successful delivery of both short- and long-term projects, effectively managing project budgets, tracking project progress, and managing change processes to keep projects on track. In addition, you will bring exceptional organisational abilities, including effective influencing skills.

Successful candidates may be required to undertake Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) screening and/or Security Check (SC).
