Full Job Description

Tenant Health and Safety Officer

Grade 7, £39,087 - £42,910

35 hour per week 9:00 - 5:00pm Monday to Friday

Job Purpose:

As the Health and Safety Officer for Queens Cross Housing Association , you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that we comply with our legal obligations in relation to tenant safety and cyclical maintenance. Whilst social housing experience is advantageous it is not essential – we are looking for candidates with that understand the technical aspects of gas safety, water safety (such as managing legionella risk), lift safety, electrical safety and fire safety.

You will:

  • Ensure that we understand and deliver our legal obligations for tenant property safety.
  • Manage contractors.
  • Assist in the organisation and management of cyclical maintenance.
  • Build relationships and influence decision-making to enhance service delivery.
  • Be comfortable implementing digital solutions and using software systems.
  • Have excellent communication skills to engage with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
