Stirling Council is looking to appoint a highly-motivated professional to support assurance and continuous improvement, particularly in respect of the Council’s arrangements for risk management, governance, and control. You will be a fully-qualified member of a relevant chartered professional body (eg, CIIA, CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA), and will have experience of working in a team delivering an Internal Audit service. You will be able to plan, perform, and document audit work and to write clear and concise reports that include appropriate, evidence-based conclusions and recommendations.
A good understanding of corporate governance is required, as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with client Services to agree findings and recommendations in challenging situations.
