Full Job Description

  • Welcoming clients and their pets, making them feel at home and comfortable
  • Managing appointments, ensuring the diary runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Answering calls and emails, helping clients with their queries
  • Handling admin tasks, including filing, updating records, and processing insurance claims
  • Managing payments and cashing up at the end of the day
  • Monitoring stock levels to keep our practice well-supplied
  • Keeping our reception area clean and tidy to maintain our hygiene standards

  • Can spot potential problems before they arise and solve them efficiently
  • Loves working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, Previous experience in customer service-such as retail, hospitality, or call centres-is a plus, but not essential. What really matters is your enthusiasm, organisation skills, and love for animals!

    We have both a full (40 hours) and part (28-30 hours) time position available both of which would require weekend work on a rota basis. You will get 5.6 weeks holiday and we also offer a company pension and other discounts including 20% off in Pets at Home and the Groom Room. Salary is national minimum wage.
