Full Job Description
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting the Warehouse Management team in the efficient running of the Warehouse operation, in line with the requirements of the organisation.
Key accountabilities will include
- Responsible for supervision of day to day running of the Warehouse facility
- Ensure all admin tasks are actioned in a timely manner
- Organise and task all team members on a day to day basis with priorities in order
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping are constantly maintained
- Work with Management team to ensure that all variable costs (i.e. wages, overheads etc.) are kept within budget levels
- Responsible for the security of the area and its contents
- Ensure that all colleagues are fully trained on the day to day running of the department
- Ensure that all warehouse associated targets (productivity etc.) are achieved
- Ensure internal counts are submitted and any discrepancies are investigated and dealt with accordingly.
- Ensures that all notices regarding Health and Safety and Fire Regulations are suitably posted and colleagues are adhering to them at all times
- Weekly auditing of key lines, reporting any discrepancies and rectifying them
- Preparing reports for Head Office
- Monitoring and ensuring stock entries
- Work with Accounts and external Auditors as required
- Analysing and rectifying kit count discrepancies as required
- Undertake other administrative tasks as required
- Ensures all communications with colleagues is professional, appropriate and considerate of individual needs and circumstances
- Actively build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across the Club, ensuring a collaborative approach is adopted at all times
- Treat all colleagues with dignity and respect by ensuring that your behaviour and approach during the course of all workplace activity is inclusive of all backgrounds and abilities and welcomes diverse contributions
Skills and Experience required
- Experience working within a Warehouse/Retail environment
- Full UK driving licence
