About the Role:
A leading general building contractor in central Scotland is seeking an experienced and proactive Part-Time Business Development Manager to join their team. Our client is flexible regarding the number of hours per week, offering an opportunity to find the right balance. Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact.

• Build on existing relationships, with a focus on architectural and engineering practices, as well as Project Quantity Surveyors.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure information is accurate, feasible, and aligned with business objectives.

• Identify and target new business opportunities from both prospective and existing clients.

• Respond promptly and effectively to client inquiries, aiming to secure new business.

• Provide regular, accurate, and timely reports on progress toward business development objectives.

• Proactively monitor market trends and activity, sharing insights with relevant departments to drive strategic decision-making.

• Handle objections and manage complaints to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in business development, ideally within the construction or building services sector.

• Strong network of contacts, especially within architectural and engineering practices and with Project Quantity Surveyors.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain and grow client relationships.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Ability to identify new opportunities and drive business growth.

• A proactive approach to market analysis and strategic business development.
