Our client, the largest independent Shellfish Processor in the UK are looking for an experienced Quality Controller on a temporary ongoing basis. As a Quality Controller you will oversee product quality to guarantee it meets company, regulatory and consumer standards. Shift pattern: Monday - Saturday, 06.00 - 15.00. As a Quality Controller, your duties will include:

• Responsible for monitoring critical control points (CCP), food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Follow work instructions, HACCP, Food Hygiene Standards, and Health and Safety Standards.
• Responsible for collecting product samples for microbiology, and chemistry testing.
• Investigate and highlight non-conformance to the QC Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Complete scheduled audits including GMP, Glass and hard plastics and walk away standards.
• Complete paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  
  Candidates must be able to drive with access to a vehicle, due to shift timings.
