THIS POST HAS AN ANNUAL PAY AWARD PENDING

Do you have a calm, caring nature and a heart for supporting older people during the night? We’re looking for a Night Care Worker to join our dedicated teamsomeone who can offer comfort, compassion and reassurance when the world is quiet and most in need of peace.

This is a role where your presence matters. You’ll be part of a warm, professional team working through the night to ensure that each person in our care feels safe, respected and valued.

What you'll be doing:
* Providing wakeful night duty cover as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Acting as a key worker for specific individualsplanning and reviewing care in partnership with others
* Supporting each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs in line with our Christian ethos and mission
* Assisting with personal and intimate care
* Helping individuals use aids and equipment safely and confidently
* Liaising with health professionals, particularly during times of illness or at end of life
* Promoting mental and physical wellbeing
* Maintaining a clean, safe and personalised living space
* Keeping accurate records and attending meetings as needed
* Working on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends

* A committed Christian, with a desire to express your faith through the care and support you provide each night
* A caring, respectful approach to working with older people
* Basic computer literacy (including Microsoft Office and online learning)
* SVQ 3 in Social Careor a willingness to achieve it within a set time
