Full Job Description
Job Description
Based at Bruce House, Wellgate, Arbroath.
This job is workstyle 5 - Hybrid+.
You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Rent Officer to join our friendly team. In this role, you’ll help manage and monitor rental income, making sure rent is collected on time while supporting tenants to stay on top of their payments. You’ll play a key part in helping people sustain their tenancies, offering guidance and understanding when they need it most — all while ensuring we meet our responsibilities under housing legislation and policy.
If you’re passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives and want to be part of a supportive, values-driven team, we’d love to hear from you.
This job is temporary for up to 12 months from date of appointment.
Internal and external applications on a secondment basis will be considered. You must have the approval of your line manager / organisation.
