THIS POST HAS AN ANNUAL PAY AWARD PENDING

As a Senior Care Worker with CrossReach, you’ll lead by examplesupporting your team to deliver high-quality care and making sure every individual we support is treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.

You’ll play a key role in rota planning, staff supervision, medication management, and care planning. You’ll also act as a key worker, provide leadership in the absence of the manager or deputy, and help drive forward service improvements. This is a hands-on role with real variety, where no two days are the sameand your input will have a lasting impact on both the team and those we support.

We’re looking for someone with an SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), who is confident in leading a shift, supporting others, and committed to continuous improvement. You’ll also need basic IT skills, and be comfortable supervising staff, managing audits, and promoting good practice in line with care standards.

As part of this role, you will be expected to demonstrate and share Christian love and support, including leading worship, opening staff meetings with prayer and Bible reading, in line with CrossReach policy. Applicants must have a Christian faith and be comfortable working in a role with this responsibility.
