- Lead absence management, welfare cases, and coordinate medical assessments.
- Promote employee wellbeing and manage the occupational health provider relationship.
- Advise on performance reviews, training, and job descriptions; support delivery of engagement and development initiatives.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure clear and consistent communication.
- Support payroll and finance on pay matters; assist with salary reviews, benefits promotion, and contract renewals.
- Draft, update, and roll out HR policies; deliver training and ensure legal compliance.
- Drive recruitment and retention improvements while ensuring audit readiness.
- Produce HR reports, analyse workforce data, and support statutory reporting requirements.
- Uphold safety, compliance, and data protection standards; support investigations and continuous improvement.
- Deliver HR services within budget and contribute to achieving KPIs.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and represent HR professionally.
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a regulated environment.
- In-depth understanding of UK employment legislation and best HR practice.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in handling complex casework and data analysis.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is advantageous.
