Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, well-organised and dynamic individual to lead the management and continued development of Orkney’s only Livestock Market.
This varied role includes:
· Managing a small team of permanent staff as well as a team of casual staff.
· Overseeing daily operations.
· Regularly liaising with, and reporting to, the Board of Directors.
· Monitoring company finances.
· Maintaining and enhancing customer and public relations.
This permanent post is full time (35 hours per week) although additional hours will be required during peak livestock periods and a flexible approach to working is essential during this time. The salary will be negotiable, based on previous experience.
