Working in a hybrid style, based at home and city square office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week on a temporary basis for 12 months. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Accountant to provide professional financial advice and support to Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership which is a partnership between Dundee City Council and NHS Tayside, providing community-based health and social care services for the citizens of Dundee. The successful candidate will work across NHS Tayside and Dundee City Council systems to provide management accounting services to local integrated health and social care services with a combined budget of around £280m. You will be CCAB Qualified Accountant, or working towards a relevant professional accountancy qualification.Responsibilities
You will be closely involved in providing financial support to managers as they continue to develop and enhance operational and strategic plans to meet the evolving needs of our population. The role also supports the Partnership’s finance team with monthly and annual financial reporting making the role both varied and an exciting learning opportunityThe Individual
You should have relevant management accounting experience, and either be fully qualified or making progress towards a professional accountancy qualification. Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, creative, the ability to manage change and to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders are essential qualities.
