With a growing portfolio of projects, they are seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team and contribute to their continued success.

 

Position Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in helping manage the financial aspects of fit-out projects. Your responsibilities will include cost planning, budgeting, contract management, and financial reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects while contributing to the financial efficiency and success of the business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and estimates, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Procurement: Manage the procurement process, including selecting and appointing subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Contract Administration: Oversee contracts, variations, and valuations, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for the project team and senior management.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate any potential financial risks associated with projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure the successful financial delivery of projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator/Trainee QS, preferably in the fit-out or construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
