Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CCTV Operator to work within our CCTV control suite based in central Stirling. Ideally you will have experience in operating CCTV systems. As part of the role, you will be responsible for monitoring the Council's Public Space CCTV network, liaising with internal and external partners, including Police Scotland and the Councils Community Safety Team. You will be expected to show abilities such as multitasking, dealing with dynamic situations and responding to enquiries. The role will involve all aspects of control room based duties such as monitoring CCTV, communication with staff, contractors and emergency services, whilst undertaking activities to ensure that the public feel safe and protected in our communities. The post is offered on a full time basis of 35 hours per week, which is averaged over the shift pattern. This means that some weeks you may work more or less than 35 hours over a rotating pattern of shifts, covering both early, late and night shifts over a 7 day period. More information about the pattern and the expectations will be discussed at interview stage.

Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will be required to pass a Standard Disclosure check and also pass a Police vetting check.
