Full Job Description

Control Room Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting Control Room Operators in the effective and efficient delivery of day-to-day Traffic Scotland services.,

  • Direct management of a Control Room Team
  • Monitoring the Scottish Trunk Road Network
  • Using CCTV & ITS systems
  • Responding to traffic incidents and events
  • Answering emergency roadside telephones
  • Keeping the public advised via lane control signal units, variable message signs, websites and social media
  • Recording and logging events and activities carried out within the control room
