Full Job Description

  • Communicate in English effectively with the team Supervisor and crew.
  • Maintain equipment according to service schedules and make repairs as required during operations
  • Assist the Supervisor in coordinating the daily operation of all equipment in line with operational guidelines.
  • Work to strict environmental guidelines and perform or help during critical testing and analysis.
  • Perform maintenance and work to a schedule with the Inovatherm crew.
  • Provide your supervisor verbal and written updates during working hours.
  • Perform additional tasks to the extent that may be reasonably expected, assigned, or required by business needs.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure adequate stock and consumables are held at the worksite.
  • Participate in training where required and actively support a safety culture at the worksite.

    NOV WellSite Services is seeking a Field Support Engineer. You will be operating in the thermal team, you will have work experience with mechanical or hydraulic equipment and machinery. Be able to troubleshoot and be confident in maintaining and repairing machinery.Are you an engineer/mechanic with a few years' experience looking to develop your career and skill sets? As a Support Engineer in NOV, you will work within a dynamic team responsible for operating and maintaining our InovaTherm thermal cuttings treatment plant both on and offshore.
  • This role requires mechanical / hydraulic knowledge, and being able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. You'll communicate effectively in English with the Thermal team and customers and be part of our team for Offshore Installations, servicing & maintenance. This is an offshore role.,
  • Experience in an engineering or mechanical environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and user manuals.
  • High-quality workmanship in line with NOV procedures and standards.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Desirable:
  • Qualifications in Engineering or a Mechanical-related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Time-served experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry, particularly in project-based and team environments.
  • Knowledge of overhauling, inspecting, and repairing heavy machinery.
  • Project management skills and familiarity with Document Management Systems (DMS).
  • Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
