Finance Assistant

FinTech RS are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Finance Assistant based in Elgin, Moray on a Permanent, Full Time basis. 

Main duties include: 

• Reconciliation of transactional data from across the business, cross checking with invoices 
• Investigate any discrepancies, ascertain root cause and correct accordingly
• Input high volumes of data into Accounting and ERP systems, maintaining accuracy
• Support with any reporting or auditing requests when required
• Assisting the wider Finance team with daily, monthly and quarterly processing duties as required

Suitable candidates should have the following: 

• Demonstrable experience in a busy Finance team
• Meticulous approach, with a very keen attention to detail
• Strong Excel and data management skills
• Willingness to challenge data that doesn’t add up, and work cooperatively to resolve issues
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and against time constraints
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Desire to learn and develop

Candidates should be based locally to Elgin, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
