We are looking for enthusiastic people, who naturally have excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and are prepared to work hard, to drive Health & Fitness within Strathclyde Sport. In addition to bringing your particular skills to the job, you should possess a passion for exceptional customer service delivery. You should either be a current student or be intending to become a student in the Glasgow area for the upcoming academic year.

You will work within the Gym and will be responsible for the daily function of this area and for creating a welcoming and engaging environment. You will be expected to interact with members, talking to them about their session and ensuring they know support is always on hand. You will develop personalised fitness programmes that focus across all our activities and that provide variety for the customer. You will be expected to make regular contact with them, reviewing their progress and helping them to maintain their motivation. You should be proactive approaching members, working with them to get the best from that day’s session both on an individual or group basis. You will also contribute to our referral programmes, helping to rehabilitate and encourage those who are returning to exercise and those who require support to continue in the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle

Interviews are scheduled to take place on 10 December 2024.
